Alicia Pulido Jiménez

 

Born in Lucena (Córdoba- Spain), she has a Superior Degree in Piano and Chamber Music from the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music. With a scholarship from the Junta de Andalucía, the Community of Madrid and the Swiss Foundation Víctor et Helena Barbour, she continued her studies at the Haute École de Musique de Geneva with Elizabeth Athanassova where she obtained a Master in Musical Interpretation with Honors. In parallel, she took Postgraduate Piano and Chamber Music Courses at the University of Alcalá de Henares with Josep Colom and Imre Rohmann respectively. Also received masterclasses from Eliane Richepin, Bruno Rigutto, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Galina Egyazarova, Ferenc Rados, David Trio, etc.

She has given recitals in several European countries as a soloist, soloist with orchestra and chamber music in concert halls such as the “Auditorio Nacional de Música” in Madrid, “Teatro Carlos III” in El Escorial, “Palacio de El Pardo”, “Palacio de la Merced” in Córdoba, the “Auditorio de Galicia” in Santiago de Compostela, “Salle Ernest Ansermet” in Geneva, etc.

For several years she has been a member of the Picasso Trio with which she won the Chamber Music Competition of the Cameralia Festival in Santiago de Compostela and the II International Chamber Music Competition of Lucena, and currently she is a member of the "Madrid Piano Duo" together with the pianist Noelia Cofreces Moreno.

Alicia Pulido is a Piano Teacher and Head of Studies at the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
